3,500,000 members challenge

Last week, My Opera passed 3,000,000 registered members! We've seen impressive growth so far this year, but we want more! And we've got a nice surprise in store for all of you. With your help we'd like to see if we can reach 3,500,000 members. In return we will reward the entire community with a juicy upgrade from 1 to 2 GB of storage space!

Invite your friends

The faster we reach 3,500,000 members, the faster we will give you 2 GB of storage space. Here are a few helpful tips and tricks how to spread the word:

Tell your friends to join! If they're blogging on a different site, you could try to convince them to try My Opera so you can share stories and photos with each other.

We also recommend importing your contacts. This is a powerful feature, which not only searches My Opera for existing friends, but also gives you the option to send any of your contacts an invitation to connect. You can also send a personal invitation to any of your family or friends from this page. To access this feature, make sure you are logged in and choose "Invite friends" from "My page".

Spread the word on your social networks

If you have an account on Twitter, Facebook or even Digg, you can simply click on the "Share this" button at the bottom of this post and choose to share with your social network of choice.

You can even integrate Facebook and Twitter with My Opera. From the social networks section you can have your Facebook feed and Twitter stream displayed in your activity feed. To connect with Facebook and Twitter read more on the "Social networks" section accessible from "My page" (you have to be logged in to access this feature).
