Application of the day: UJS Manager

UJS Manager application

Check out this nifty "UJS Manager" - an application which manages User JavaScripts without resorting to file managers or external applications! yes

It features a whole array (!) of cool things, including the following:

  • works as a panel (easily accessible)
  • enable/disable/delete script with a click
  • install new or update existing script just by opening it in Opera
  • subdirectories support
  • check user scripts header fields
  • create new and edit text of existing scripts
  • edit script settings

We'd like to congratulate Rafal on making a great Opera Unite application. We recommend keeping a close eye on his blog and Opera Unite repository. up

tomassplatch Wednesday, November 25, 2009 8:29:37 AM

one of the most usefull apps, however, it would be great if it made use of Unite sharing capabilities.

Daniel Davistagawa Wednesday, November 25, 2009 8:39:23 AM

Initially I wasn't sure whether this was the best use of Opera Unite but having tried it, it's very cool!

Although it doesn't make use of the client-server architecture, it's a neat way of managing and editing UserJS within the browser and without firing up external applications. Could set an example for further apps that need more capabilities than a web page or widget can provide. Congratulations!

Excellent choice. Most useful Unite app i've seen so far.

Some more UserJS files can be found here BtW.

FataL Wednesday, November 25, 2009 9:03:11 AM

UJS Manager is the most useful Unite app for me along with Twicli. up
Both apps happily live in a panel.

I'm like FataL, UJS is the most useful Unite "Application" that has been published thus far!

I'm just waiting for a user interface overhaul so it seems more natural. Other than that I give this unite application a 10 out of 10!

@d.i.z. Dares to go where Opera has not dreamed of going before. Thanks d.i.z for such a great application that actually further extends Opera more than...adding a new feature. We all owe you. wink Now lets see some visual goodies in the updates!

yes Best Unite app available so far, this is the perfect alternative to Firefox's Greasemonkey extension when it comes to UJS management.
