Show me the world

When you're a young logo, you just want to do the little things right, like fitting on Web pages, on brochures. You know, the basics.

But as you grow up, you acquire the freedom to do new things. People put you in all sorts of interesting and new places. You may not believe it, but it's exciting to be a logo.

The old Opera logo went all over the world. From the seas, to the mountain tops, and everywhere in between. Now it's my turn. I'm setting out on my own adventure...

Since I don't have a passport or a bus ticket, I need your help. Just print me out and take me places. I'm a good traveling companion. I'm quiet. I won't steal your food. I always clean up after myself.

Post a picture of me on one of our adventures and let the folks at Opera know in the comments. I know there are rewards for those who help out, so let's get going. My bags are packed:

If you want to print the Opera Logo pretty big (larger than A4), use the CMYK Logo Kit.

If you wish to print it A4-size or smaller, go with the JPG Logo.

I'm sure that would be fine! You could print out the Outline Version and colour it in yourself!

Not sure I'll be printing the logo, but I'd definitely buy an Opera sticker for my laptop if they existed (I know, I could print my own.. but it wouldn't be very high quality.)

@Matt Cox : alright. I don't have a red crayon/pencil neither sad

I'm pretty sure this isn't a photo manipulation challenge.

We're actually hoping people will print the logo and take it around.

The reason the photo in the official post doesn't look photoshopped is that it wasn't. We took the logo out and will be taking it around Oslo in the coming days.

Aravindaravindkrd Tuesday, February 16, 2010 3:48:55 PM

I thought this was the idea.. Should try printing out one before my next tour...smile

You more or less already did it by implicitly mentioning you have photos. But lets make it in better way. Go to one of your photos like this one: http://my.opera.com/Glootech/albums/showpic.dml?album=2160891&picture=29421041

Then on right margin you have codes displayed, which you can copy paste into your post here. Do that for your all photos in same post or mention you have more photos on that album.

EDIT: Oh, you just edited your post Adam (Glootech). That's just fine as well smile

Glootech Thursday, February 18, 2010 2:51:59 PM

Edited it multiple times, but finally got it right. Thanks again for your help Serola! smile

Sami Serolaserola Thursday, February 18, 2010 2:57:06 PM
