Ahh, I think it should take people based on how regular people are giving feedback and what are their givings to enhance Opera..

Opera team, I would work for you myself, without any payment myself.
I am doing this because of your speed, quality and lot more.
I will continue giving you feedback about browser crashes though even if you do not select me.
However apart from being an astrophysicist, technology is also my interest field so I will be happy to market the zetasonic browser in the world.

among the wildcards ,how many candidates are going to be selected ?

I absolutely agree. If you wanna success in sales and promotion you have to know the features of the product. Otherwise you won't be reliable - it's not what social media promotion is about.

Absolutely, now I am confident that my views are not just mine.
I hereby urge the Opera Selection committee and also the main advisory board of Opera to re-think about this.
My vision is to take Opera to the highest summit of technological advancement. Social Media Promotion??!! We are living at a age where the world is connected in various ways. Do you really think Mr. Brin had Social network thinking for google promotion years ago when it was founded? No! His genius ability has made google's search engine the fastest and most reliable server.
Opera team!!! To take us at the top, we need to improve Opera from the root level not just go to the Social networking trend of now. my fear is by the time Opera will be in process of advertising, the world will already have achieved new advancements and left social networking.
So, lets select computer geniuses, and people who have uses opera who know the faults, consumers who have been giving feedbacks to Opera seriously. As they will be the future of Opera with one of their hand connected to Opera as a powerhouse of suggestions and feedback and the other hand in the world as a customer, an Opera Browser user. This hybrid combination will no doubt take Opera to the peak.

It's interesting how I agree with your even comments and do not with odd ones
You want to recruit technicians - it's not the way. The task is not to develop Opera but to create community and social media communication. I think that a person should have both expertise in social media (proved with the number of collected comments under his/her application) and Opera familiarity (found IN the entry).
Notice that the next stage are the interviews. I believe Opera team will make a good choice

Hmm, I didnt understand the competition the same way you did.
I think that the best post will win. By best post I mean the one that represent good knowledge of social media in the post and demonstrate the same knowledge by collecting comments under the post. And yes, we need to know abouts Opera's products, but that not the only knowledge we need Thats my opinion

I know that my friend but whats the disadvantage in hiring people who have technical knowledge too. Its not that they will be harmful . They will be a bonus to the advertising committee. Plus, I have not said just to hire developers, I have also said we should hire people from all different fields but that should include people with familiarity in opera not mere by voting!

I think the selection process is very understandable. Its clear:

"OPERA SOFTWARE is selecting based on the language skills, marketing knowledge and quality of the blog post that you are providing."
