Formerly known as Flamingo Rinse, formerly of NZ ... when he changed his username (the first time) because it had a space in it, the change didn't go well (all the links in his blog were broken by the change) so rather than change the name again he started over with the current name. (I forget when he moved, if it was before or after this user name business ...)

Unaccustomed as I am to public speaking, etc. etc. I would just like to thank everybody I know, all my Opera fiends...I mean friends......who keep on comin' back to my place...our place, really - and listening to the music and stuff I put up, and reading my totally subjective ramblings...and yes, thank you Steve and David for remembering my old id, the almost (but not quite) gone and almost (but not quite) forgotten Flamingo Rinse...happy days, ladies and gentlemen, happy days

And I'd also like to thank my dear friend Zaphira, who encouraged me to start the music blogs up again, and without whom the world would be a much less colourful and entertaining place.
