10,000 views and 1000 comments

This morning we came across a recent video review of OperaFollow Opera on Twitter. It was definetely a nice surprise coming out of nowhere from someone in Oklahoma, USA! We didn't even know we had users there! party

This got us thinking. What if we surprised him back with a ton of video views courtesy of the Opera community? Let's say that we want to make sure he gets at least 10,000 views and 1000 comments. We hope he will be so surprised that he posts a new video thanking everybody. So, as a community experiment, we ask all of you to help to achieve this goal. Here are things you can do to help get the ball rolling:

  • Just watch the video. That's it. If you want to do more, write a comment!
  • Blog about it! Embed the video in your blog, so your readers are notified!
  • Tell your friends! Tweet or share the link to this post on your social networks.
  • Participate! Write a comment in his video or post a video response (if that's your style).

We would like to make this a real surprise for him, so don't tell him how you came across his video. He will easily find out by himself after a bit of research. This also makes it more fun - don't you think? However, make sure your comment is on subject and nice!

There are probably many more ways to engage, so feel free to get creative in the comments. What do you say? Wanna do a good deed for someone this week? Let's show the world the power of My Opera! yes

P.S. This was also posted on Choose Opera for those that don't subscribe there.
