It brings a tear of joy to our eyes to see how the Opera community is growing. Since My Opera's launch in August 2001, 500,000 members have signed up, with the latest months seeing an average of upwards of 1,000 new members joining the community each day. We've had the first online birthday party, numerous Widget competitions and more site makeovers than Amazon. And let's not forget, we're still the only online community that has server monkeys

For our OC newbies, here are some My Opera highlights:

• September 12th, 2005 we announce our first Member of The Week.
• December 1st, 2005 the My Opera Community Reaches 250,000 Users.
• Countdown completed. We have more than 500,000 members.
