Good news, everyone! Opera Mini 4 has hit the street, so make sure to update your phone today and share the good news with your friends!
Opera Mini brings the full Web to almost every mobile phone. It automatically reduces the size of the transferred pages, so Web sites load faster while reducing the cost of surfing. Also, Opera Mini 4 supports Opera Link. Opera Link is a new platform for synchronizing your bookmarks and speed dial across any device that runs an Opera browser - or any browser that can access My Opera.
The Opera Mini team blog has also been updated.

To start with, give it up for the best mobile Web developers in the world! 
They've been working day and night to give you a sweet and improved browsing experience for your mobile phone.
We know many of you use Mini on My Opera to blog, read posts, upload photos, chat with friends, so we hope this beta will make your online life easier (and faster).
So, what's going on today? Well, a lot of cool stuff. For one, there's a new challenge here at My Opera where you can win a brand new mobile phone (it's hot, believe us).

Last year we gave (as we do from time to time) away some free t-shirts. Last week it was our turn to get something in return, for free! When the Opera Mini team received a mysterious brown bag they were at first a bit worried. Was this the letter from a Opera Mini user not eligible to photo blog 
?
To our relief this was instead a thank you letter from Opera Mini user Gianluigi Alesso who received a free t-shirt December 15th 2006.
The letter itself was a great read, and the Opera chocolate was really tasty! The Opera Mini team was more than satisfied.
Thanks a bunch Gianluigi! And if anyone else want to send us some sweet chocolate (or candy in general) with a handwritten letter, please do! This was a great surprise, and we hope we will receive additional "prizes" in the future
