Welcome to Opera 10 beta, everybody! Experience a surprising array of new features, a fresh look and feel, and enhanced speed and performance. Since the alpha release we've now turned our attention to features. ![]()
Finally, Opera Turbo in a beta!
Sick and tired of a Web site loading slowly? So are we! Opera Turbo is a compression technology that provides significant improvements in browsing speeds over limited-bandwidth connections like a crowded Wi-Fi in a cafe or browsing through your mobile phone. It's awesome! ![]()
Visual tabs and sweet design!
We've always been the pioneer for how to deal with tabs. In Opera 10, we introduce a resizable tab bar. Drag the handle underneath the tabs to reveal thumbnails of your open Web pages. And, because great features should come in beautiful packages: World famous designer Jon Hicks created a new look

Can anyone confirm this please.
Edit: OK The reason this was occurring was because I was using G mail and had the Auto Expunge enabled in G mail.
However, If I send an email with opera through my G mail IMAP account the sent email is displayed in the Received section of opera even though I Don't have the Received set to show sent messages. Not sure if this is correct or is it a IMAP G mail thing ?????

(Opera 10 Betha, Build 1551)
- Permissions to configure a resource SpeedDial was the long expected (and necessary). Now, with the configuration of the quantity of elements, the action (SpeedDial) wins a new horizon, and I am great;
- Apparently, the rendering engine of this page even faster.
- To modify the height of the column top (Tab's) is interessente as well as the ability to display sites that are open. I do not think that is so necessary, but apparently this working correctly.
- Problems of stress that were happening in previous versions have been resolved.
- AutoUpdate works
Congratulations on the team,
So far no noticeable error.

Can you make the preview tabs be positionable on the left or right side? Due on the highly use of wide-screen monitors and the mostly traditional orientated web pages, optimized on lesser width it would be very great to have the pages in preview on one (as usual not used) side. (I can imagine here also more then one row, or even the use of both sides).
For me the preview tabs are not usable if they are at the top or bottom, because they take too much of space.
Contact me if your development team for tabs is bored, I have a lot of more ideas to it
Greetings,
The one, without name
