I understand that it's kind of cool and hip, but I believe Opera should not forget about the site visitors who don't find it amusing. It doesn't look very professional, even though it's not on Opera's homepage.
Let's not taint Opera's brand and image.

True Story:
The other week I went to the Odeon Cinema in Manchester's Trafford Centre to see Jarhead (if I remember rightly).
When we got there, me and my three mates walked up the stairs to see the queue for tickets was MASSIVE. Seriously! I've never seen such a big queue for anything before in my life. For those that know that particular cinema; the queue curled round the snaked barriers, passed the stairway and the lifts, and through into Dreamyland.
Whilst my mates discussed which film we should go and rent out from Blockbuster, instead of queuing for the cinema, I was in the process of booking tickets online using Opera Mini.
Order complete. Your tickets are available for collection from the 'Collection Machines' in your local cinema.
Result! No queuing. I took my friends to the 'Collection Machines' and I slotted my credit card in, and the tickets fell out. Within a few minutes, we'd effectively jumped the queue and got out tickets!! We turned around to see that the film we'd just collected our tickets for had just sold out - and what's the betting we'd just snatched one of the last tickets.
My mates were amazed at Opera Mini's ability to help us skip the queue... and for those that were wondering - the film, Jarhead, is quite average and probably not worth seeing.
-END-

I don't personally mind to much but to my crowd of 25-30ishes this is negative marketing, it'll actually make the product look less interesting to them and make them not like it. I mean if they get exposed to this type of marketing. And it aint because they don't know what hip hop is, rather the opposite.
Opera mini really doesn't need any hype, it really is extremely cool in itself and a really nice design. Seriously this is the closest I have seen to WAP ads in years. Just explain to people calmly that you made something that really works, even on old phones and are taking over the world hour by hour.
