My Opera is our collective pride and joy. First launched in September 2001, it was just a forum for Opera fans... But, today; it's a dynamic community with thousands of people posting and contributing cool stuff every day! We owe a big "thank you" to each and every one of you! We often like to refer to you as the 1st generation in... "My Operanians". 
You've helped us set the tone (and direction) in the community.
Here's how we've evolved over the years. We've compiled a short (but nostalgic) set of screenshots for you:
The My Opera History
- First version with forums and Opera files!
- Introducing the first CSS based & Mobile friendly design... Among other things.
- We got merchandise!
- Browser customisation and revamp of the site.
- The Opera Man's first (and last) appearance on My Opera.
- First time we introduce blogs and photo albums to the public!
- New cool design with many features still in place.
- The infamous Halloween Hunt — Which we aim to repeat this year as well.
- Only four days before we revamped the frontpage and much of the blog designs.
- New (and existing) My Opera community site is revealed!
When we reached 500,000 members back in September of last year we asked members to write a short post about My Opera. Needless to say, they shared some great stories. We decided to do something similar this time as well. Simply click on a profile to read what they have to say about My Opera.
