Opera Link
By EspenAO. Thursday, 25. October 2007, 15:44:52
We've today released Opera Link. Wherever you are, whatever Opera browser you use, or whichever device you
use Opera on, you can now instantly access your bookmarks, Speed Dial, and personal bar. ![]()
Wave goodbye to any tedious hassle of entering text in your mobile phone to visit sites you really like and say hello to a new level of convenience from device to device. You can today try Opera Link yourself, but only by combining the power of our newest product releases.
Yeah, cool, but how!?
Relax, it's easy. Opera Link forms a key cornerstone of two products still in beta: Opera 9.5 and Opera Mini 4. Combine those two products with the power My Opera's kicky cool Web interface, and you got convergence. Just head over to your account and scroll down to Opera Link to view or edit your synchronized Opera bookmarks and speed dial.
So, check it out and drop us a comment here on what you think!

Cool feature!
Is there any way to share some bookmarks with others, like on del.icio.us , or it's only private?

Unfortunately it doesn't work in my Opera 9.5. I've been using it since its very launch, but whenever I try to synchronise my bookmarks it says "Link communication error"
By nlupus, # 26. October 2007, 12:47:58
I have always thought in this feature, and now there is! Opera the best!
Bye!
By romanex, # 26. October 2007, 14:02:04
With the sync it'd be nice to have history, settings, toolbar layout etc. The best thing for opera would be an API for extensions, but that's a can of worms for security.
