March Release
By EspenAO. Thursday, 13. March 2008, 10:51:34

This month, the biggest change to My Opera is most likely the Google search box we've added to the community pages, along with a new theme Fred has made: "Blue line". ![]()
Changelog:
- A new blog design has been added. It's called "Blue line", so check it out from "Design" in your account settings.

- Access rights for group photo albums should now work properly again.
- The *really* old blog designs have been updated to newer ones.
- A Google search box has been implemented. Use it to either search on the Web or within the community pages.
- Not a My Opera issue, but avatars on dev.opera.com are now showing again.
- Logged in users can now use HTML in blog comments.
- In Watches, posts with new comments now points to the first unread comment, rather than the very last one.
- The sidebar calendar on blogs no longer links to empty blog posts.
- The forum rules page now works properly again (it actually show the rules).
- The edit options are no longer shown for all photo albums, but only to the (logged in) author.
- Uploading language files now works again.
- The XML FOAF document now links correctly.
- Tag clouds should be slightly nicer to look at now.
That's it for now everyone. We hope to have a new release again in a month, or so. ![]()

No one seems to care about Opera using Google everywhere else to help its revenu stream, but suddenly there is this soaring bad feedback?
By YtseJam, # 13. March 2008, 13:47:03
But on the other hand; my costum design looks awful now. CAN SOMEONE HELP, PLEASE?
PS: I can't edit or delete previous comment, so I'm posting a new one

By 67shelby, # 13. March 2008, 14:16:37
and whats the point of a google search integration? If youre using opera browser there is already a google search bar on our right, if youve disabled the search bar from your browser chances are you dont want a search on your blog either.
so now i have double the search ability and if im feeling too lazy to move my mouse over 5 cm then im in LUCK! cuz bam its placed right there horribly throwing off the classy professional look of my blog.

now, with google, we have a complete site search. and it has "my.opera.com" selected by default, so you will search within the my opera site.

but change screws me all up

By VegaTheTerrible, # 13. March 2008, 14:44:55
I want only one search box with radio button for select WEB - OPERA - BLOG and BLOG must be the default.
Do you really think that a visitor will ever use the inside google toolbar instead of the browser one ?
