A rose among thorns

my opera, a rose among thorns

The general idea behind this wallpaper was how to visually display the My Opera Community as something different than other online communities — hence its title "A rose among thorns".

With great help from Oleg Melnychuck we now have this awesome illustration (he was the one who won the Opera fan art contest we hosted some months ago).

We really hope you'll like it, because we do. :up:

@NoteMe: Nope, I was doing my diploma recently. But yesterday I became so boring of that and decided to draw something :smile: As usually, 'something' smoothly became 'Opera' :D

My Opera news is pretty weak lately. I hope you guys are busy on something big, or there's gonna be trouble!
I'm sad to hear this. We're working constantly for pushing out Opera news. Currently, we're working on a new (technical) article which should be out on Monday. Anyway, if you have any ideas or comments about news I would be delighted to hear them. :smile: Feel free to send me a PM!

nice illustration, and pretty good for being used as a wallpaper. I generally think that wallpapers shouldn't be too shiny and contrasty, especially for people who use their desktop for (lots of) icons.

but I overcome this problem otherwise by not having icons on the desktop :smile:
