New Years Event

The year is coming to a close, and what a year it's been. Here at Opera, preparation for holiday festivities are in full-swing.
We're making plans for a big event to mark the New Year that will involve our community members. Stay tuned for updates - we'll be unveiling the surprise soon. This is going to be big and we're going to need your help!

Something BIG doesn't just sound like a version 9.0 of Opera.

They will problably anounce that Miscrosft has decided that IE 7 will in reality be Opera 9 and trash their code. Now that's Big!!!!

If Opera group would held a new years party in their office and invite winners from the commnity for a celebration and hold a live online show with all others in the community? V.9 's announce will be a big news in that celebration....

Web Forms is a more consistent specification than HTML5, and is already finding some implementation:
Beta releases of Opera 9 include Web Forms 2.0 support.
