The current preview pic for Minimalist Native looks like the skin I normally use, Min-Blu, but when I downloaded Minimalist Native it I found that the skin was actually grey-beige, had rectangular button-style page tabs, and had horizontal lines between the toolbars.

Using it for years.
So far, all skins 7.5-compatible don't please me.
I'd like to keep "minimalist-native" updated for Opera 7.5
Hurry up, please !

this is a very original and unique skin. i really like it lot. this is what the ability to customize your browser should be about. creating, not merely doing revamped buttons and adding a new color scheme. its actually original.

I've been using this for so many years that I would be lost without it.

I upgraded to 7.51 and this skin is still usable, but the feel is totally different. First of all I miss the old background color (now it has the default 'fading' paler Windows-color that I DON'T like) and of course the look of the changes in Opera 7.5 are not in pace with the (older) rest of the lay-out.
So: please! make an update of this skin!!
Thnx!!

Tried few skins today and found this to be just perfect. The icons are small and the colors light and non intrusive.

I really like this skin, is so easy to navigate, plus is not dark at all, which makes my days much better

cool

The non clutterd feel doesn't tire out the eyes, at all. Plus the selected page buttons really stand out, not like some skins where they have no 3D depth.

Its a very well designed skin...Kudos!!!

I hope this works in Opera 9 too

nanook 15. February 2006, 08:05

it's perfect.

also the dark yellow bookmarks complement verry well to my system colorsheme.
(wich is rgb(50,50,100) and rgb(60,60,120), thats sort of indigo/purple)

nolovelust 5. March 2006, 00:27

this is the best skin for opera ever, i think opera should have it as default skin

aimzz 13. April 2006, 15:17

I use this one alot of the time-- coming back to it over & over

Roman Menyhart 3. May 2006, 10:43

How nice to have the old but unbeatable look of Opera 3.6 back! Thank you very much--it's fantastic!

Ari 28. June 2006, 10:42

Perfect simplicity. This is most unobtrusive and refreshing opera skin to date, I have been using it since the first Opera 8 release.

best skin for those who want a neat, simple and compact look

Hey I think Opera 9.2 supports animated skins, can have some animated tabs that show spining progress arrows?

Jack Malmostoso 4. September 2007, 09:34

Hi all,

with Kestrel alpha it looks like this skin does not have close buttons on every tab, even if the preference is set. Can anybody confirm?

Thanks!

Anton Tsigularov 8. September 2007, 13:22

Just to note - I've been using this skin since .. forever.. and it's the best thing around for me.

I'll check it on Kestrel next week, I hear there have been some issues with it indeed.

Anton Tsigularov 12. September 2007, 16:12

Indeed, no close buttons in Kestrel. But that seems to be an issue with other skins as well, probably an Opera bug.

Anton Tsigularov 20. January 2008, 13:30

Just wanted to report that since the latest weekly build the skin functions properly and is magically more native than before

Jack Malmostoso 21. January 2008, 10:46

Hmmm I am now on build 1766 but the skin still does not show close buttons. I should try with a clean profile, maybe.

J 20. May 2008, 17:26

First thing after installing Opera on a new computer: download this skin!

deluxelespaul 18. July 2008, 16:53

Just installed 9.51 with minimalist native and noticed that the tab bar window tabs are reversed. (the current tab appears raised instead of pressed) is there an easy way to fix this? I've been using this skin since what 2004 and just love it too much to give it up. Thanks!

Anton Tsigularov 28. May 2009, 15:29

For some reason the sliders aren't "native" on my ubuntu anymore :frown:
