It is a good space saver using the small icons. The champagne color reminds me of Netscape 6.0 when it first came out. Actually Netscape should offer that theme choice again when and if 7.2 come out instead of that drab blue. Unfortunately, the web page gets the same gold skinning of buttons and so forth which I guess might be an acquired taste. It looks like a lot of effort when into this theme.

Colourful & Re-Freshing.

Not distracting, rather complimentary.

Cheerful - makes even the "poor" pages we surf look a little <i>better(/i>

...what I wanted to ask: "How do I reveal the Flags?"

Maureen Crothall 9. June 2004, 11:34

Me too!! I Like this skin, I'm using it right now, but I've got no flags :O(

chodo 10. June 2004, 14:43

I don't know how long I searched for an Opera-Skin that looks like KDE. The Emil Skin was the first step, this is the next! The first Opera-Skin I've seen that _really_ looks like KDE. The next step would be a skin, that looks like the plastik-skin =)

Matthew J R Prouse 12. June 2004, 08:13

This looks just like every other Keramik application. I can't think of a higher complement. This skin is so good that I didn't even notice it on my Keramik desktop. Perfect!

Kai Morten Thuen 12. June 2004, 17:50

Hi.

Great looking skin with great icons.
Will there be a native version?

Thanks so much! I'm so glad to hear it blends in, as that was the whole idea of course  It took me way too long to do this, it was my first skin. Hopefully the next will not take so long.

Speaking of; if I ever switch over to the Plastik style, I will make a skin to match it - assuming no one else does first. Don't hold your breath though, I still quite like the Keramik style.

About the flags: check this post http://my.opera.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=589331#post589331 Add the custom button from my post (it's an auto translator bookmarklet) and you will get the flags (but only if you are using large images).

*** ack, I can't reply without leaving a rating?? Most seem to be fours so I'll go with that. Wouldn't want to skew things :D )

Nice job, Keramik has become my new skin.

vasarnap2000 11. August 2004, 18:42

I forgot to give it my 5-star rating.

I do not speak very good english, but what I want to say is, that keramik-skin is to my mind the best of all. I have changed the ground-colour to lightsteelblue, what semed to me a little bit fresher and so it is super, simple, clear, easy to survey and anyhow solid and pure.
Thank You, Jochen

On the drop-down address bar button, where the arrow shows, I have an echo of the arrow in the margin...also on search drop-down button. If you could fix, that would be great...Keramic is one of my favorites.

Strangely enough i didn't like kde but i loved this skin.
i just love the way everything seems to glow with this!!

James Ashford 17. February 2005, 17:03

This in my opinion, the best skin on this site. I use it on all my PCs, whether they are using Windows or Linux, the first thing I do is download this skin.
MamiyaOtaru you are a star.
Regards Jim

very nice, even on Windows

Very, very nice!
So much work, so many details!
Love it.
5 STARS!

I really like the skin. It is the one I use all the time but it has a problem with the Opera 9 preview I am using. The address and search fields have an empty spot right next to the dropdown arrow. It looks as if the middle of the field has moved to the left and the ends have stayed where they are. Any way to fix that for Opera 9?

MamiyaOtaru 26. October 2005, 06:47

Suppose I better get Opera9 and check it out.. and I just updated for 8 :-/ Thanks for the report!

konic 26. October 2005, 09:46

Well, there is one more.
Zoom window keeps only one digit,
so it always shows 0% :frown:
...
Just noticed, icons on active/current and
other tabs on the page bar are the same.

rajesh raman 5. November 2005, 21:04

skins are the best i have ever seen

AndyGooo 10. November 2005, 23:05

so good !

Larry 18. December 2005, 01:54

Any news on an update for Opera 9? It sure would be nice.

normwarm 8. March 2006, 02:15

I'm not much for skins.....this is the 1st skin I have ever downloaded for a browser...2 thumbs up

Larry 3. April 2006, 03:28

Just to let MamiyaOtaru know, I am using the latest weekly build 8333 and the problem we have been having in Opera 9 has been at least partially corrected in this build. Maybe we can get an updated version for Opera 9? Please!! Thanks for the great skin.

fanel 25. April 2006, 00:03

Very good work, it has many good details.:D

Make scrollbar round

MamiyaOtaru 3. September 2009, 20:03

I need to do something with thumbnail tabs still. I think they look best on the side. The handle for changing their width is actually wide enough to do a keramik style splitter (unlike the hotlist splitter). Will probably do this within the next week.

MamiyaOtaru 7. September 2009, 14:44

visual tabs are in keramik style now. Not sure how well it works, this skin is based around a fairly old school layout that I use but I try to keep it workable for other layouts (including default layout) as well. Feedback welcome
