Just go to Tools / Appearance and select 80% for the Icon Size. I also like the skin, I've been using it since published, but its is a shame (because of Windows Vista, horrible name indeed).

I have tested this skin a little bit and found that it is really nice. A good alternative to the standard skin.

Cyro, I noticed a strange icon being superimposed onto the Wand icon in my toolbar when I hover the mouse over it... the icon is supposed to get brighter (like the rest) but instead another icon appears.

I guess you're still working with other icons (mail check, mail download, trash, show images, etc.) because I still get the default icons.

I've resized the icons a bit, so it can fit small or large screen resolutions.
Also fixed the bugs reported in the reviews above.

Maybe it's just me, but I find the buttons to be a little too shiny...having too much of reflection on them...!?

I just hope Vista won't really be like that all through and through...?!

It's a nice done skin though anyway...!

I see the wand icon much more smaller when the mouse passes over it. The other icons just get brighter and don't get smaller (the expected behaviour).

Fixed lots of bugs and added some more new icons.
Also recolored the tabs.

Please post your comments and suggestions.
I will read all of them and make the proper changes, if necessary.

Hey its a good skin...But requires some work on it.
Icons are too big...looks OK with size set to 70 %
Icons too shiny...
Scroll bars are too bright...
Too much white used in skin...try a diffrent shade for progress bar background and scroll bar highlight...
But overall the skin does have a lot of potential !!! gr8 work... I like it !!!

Another update, of course more new icons added. But fixes and included Opera's original background.
First, I want to thank anyone that dropped a line for good, bad or evil.

Second I had many complains about the size of my skin, or even to add an option for "Small Icons".
My answer is: I'm no longer going to reduce the skin or add the small icon option. The size is fine and plus: if I resize more the icons will lose resolution and it will not fit the way I like.
If you are looking for really small icons, there are plenty of them in the Opera skins section.
Also, this is not a 99% conversion of the original theme, I've changed a bit so it can handle Opera needs.

Third: The future, next steps are new scrollbar and progressbar.

Once again thank you for your suggestions and etc.

Great skin. Of the ones I've checked out (admittedly a few) this one is the best by far. I actually like the somewhat bigger icons. For those who like them smaller, use your Tools--->Appearance menu. Setting icon size at 90% leaves them about the size of the standard Opera icons, and you can go as low as 40% if you want. And this last update fixed one of my only problems with the skin. Now the oversized lock has been replaced by a smaller, more natural looking wand button. This is particularly pleasant since I have the wand button in my nav. bar next to Stop/Reload (so I can access it from javascript pop-up login windows).

Anyway. Your skin is great, however the scroll bars are not exactly the ones from Windows Vista. I have WindowBlinds (a program that makes your windows and everything look how you want them to) and your skin fits a skin of Windows Vista very well all except for those. If you could make them look more like the ones in Windows Vista and not the ones from XP, that would be appreciated.

Removed those ugly XP scrollbars and finally added the Windows Vista one.
Next step will be the Viewbar icons so it can finally match Vista.

I love this theme but when you have the close window button in the upper right corner it looks funny .. like it shows one and half of another button under it.
If you have the close window button on each tab they look fine.

great theme other than that one thing

Some bugs were fixed and more icons were added as well.
I've tested the skin in Mandriva Linux and some other distributions, it's doing pretty well although Opera for Windows is much better (don't ask me why).

Not bad at all. But you should make a new contacts panel image, looks real ugly on the default. And you need to skin the mail and new page main bar icons, they don't match the rest.

Nice skin. You may make your radio button and checkbox much shiny and plump, like other (back, forward, favorites...) icons.

And font color (white) for the Tabs is not the best choice,
I'm afraid

Returned back to the previous version.
Other problem is in Skin.ini. I don't know was it done on purpose,
but 'dialog_images' are not presented there. To fix it just appended
[Images] with the following:
Dialog Warning= dialog_images/warning.png
Dialog Error= dialog_images/error.png
Dialog Question= dialog_images/question.png
Dialog Info= dialog_images/info.png

No way!!! What a crap! I cant read the name of the page i am viewing on the tabs bar, its just "white-gray" background and same color for the letter!

Ok, for my usage only I changed these pagebar text colors:

Text Color= #d5f5fd
[Pagebar Button Skin.bottom.attention]
Text color= #e1e1fd
[Pagebar Button Skin.bottom.hover.attention]
Text color= #e1e1fd
It is not perfect (of course)
but at least I can see what's on that tab

This is a very well made skin. The only issue I have with it so far is the unselected tab color is dark blue, so the text inside doesn't show up too well, the text in unselected tabs is black if I've opened the tab and blue if I haven't. But that's probably due to a setting on my end, certainly not a big enough problem to discourage me from giving this 5 stars.

hey i am using windows 2000 SP4 and opera 9.5 beta and when I installed this skin all that happens is the tab things at the top changed colors and got shorter. is this cuz of my computer?

I am using 9.26 version, but it has a 'vista circule image' bug in the tabs.
I've checked it on 9.5 Beta icon is great.

While the image bug is not fixed I am currently using Ghost Vista (http://my.opera.com/community/customize/skins/info/?id=7830).

I like WinVista LE Classic more, but images make me crazy.

These two skins in mot look the same. Stil Ghost has better images
