Nice works, thanx.

eetest 8. June 2007, 16:37

i have been using look n shout for a long time
dance n shout is what i have been looking for
it's like an enhanced and more colorful version of look n shout
im lovin' it
thx for making this awesome skin

rmccabe916 9. June 2007, 18:54

Nice. However, I think it would be cool if you changed the color of the page-load status from red to blue, like the color of the buttons. It would be really slick then.

archetwist 11. June 2007, 23:51

Thank you. Eetest, that was exactly my intention. Mission accomplished  . Rmccabe, I will think about it, though you can already change the colors with the "Color scheme" option.

cyxovi 13. June 2007, 17:39

Wow! Very cool theme for Opera. I like the tabs (browers tab and dialogs too), and the neat color

Darken 13. June 2007, 20:07

modified bookmark icon
changed progress bar color (from red to blue)

Ah nice, thanx for the update.

konic 14. June 2007, 01:29

Well, I'm not sure that "modified bookmark icon" was a good idea.
As for "bar color (from red to blue)",
this maybe OK, but 'red' was OK too
Anyway, in all quite good theme.
I use it now.

rmccabe916 14. June 2007, 02:20

Thanks for changing the progress bar color. :D

(I think you could still put the skin up somewhere else if you wanted though.)

It was. Previous icon looked like... like a plain rectangle  . This one is more detailed.

Cannot satisfy everyone  .

What do you mean?

konic 14. June 2007, 21:19

OK, just for the argument sake and IMHO.
In v1.0 bookmark icon has lines in it
which makes icon not as dull as in v1.1,
where no lines but a small bent corner.

rmccabe916 15. June 2007, 04:29

I think you could still put the skin up somewhere else if you wanted though.

Oh nothing really. If people wanted the red progress bar, they could get it someplace else. But that would be too much work. It's not a big deal.

hnkwrnrs 21. June 2007, 09:22

exelent, one of the best skins, good working, quet vieuw, easy to work wich.
can you continue the vert-line richt site from the palel to the hor-line undersite tabs? i think the panel is than more explicit.

Pictish 26. July 2007, 03:20

Oh my gosh!!! Thank you, thank you. Absolutely love the 'clean & efficient' layout and the buttons have a funky retro feel about them. My eyesight isn't what it used to be and with your design @ 120% it is very easy to navigate and manage. Very nice work.

aimzz 24. August 2007, 04:40

Clean design & it takes color really well
Great work!

Northgrove 28. September 2007, 07:01

Very nice and easy on the eyes. Clean design. This is one of those skins that are well rounded and polished they could be a standard Opera skin.

OliverH 23. October 2007, 14:31

This has immediately become my favorite skin. Great work.

A couple requests:

* could you make tabs that load in the background have the text go blue to indicate they are loaded?
* a tiny bit more horizontal space between the links on my personal bar would be great
* if you added the letters 'rss' to the rss icon (even very, very small) it might be helpful
* I use the InFF and InIE buttons.. and if you skinned the icons, that would be awesome
* for whatever reason, I prefer the close button on the active tab to be colored... possibly with the blue color, it might look good

Thanks again, these are just suggestions. Love the skin.

Oliver

DaComboMan 22. November 2007, 23:10

Just to my 2 cents and show my appreciation.

Thank you!

It's a lovely piece of artwork!

archetwist 22. December 2007, 19:03

Oliver, in the latest version personal bar items have greater padding. I personally don't like the coloured tab titles though. But you can always change the colour for yourself - add a "Text color = #333333" property under the "[Pagebar Button Skin.top.attention]" section, swapping the "#333333" code with the hex code of your desired colour (in the "skin.ini" file).

As to your other suggestions - I'll think about them. In the meantime, play with the latetest Dance 'n' shout  .

I would also like to thank all of you for the positive feedback  .

chuuey 23. December 2007, 10:12

great skin :D

Darken 24. December 2007, 18:56

Thanks for the update.

cracky 3. January 2008, 15:00

Definately one of the best skins for Opera I've seen, and uses Tango Gnome Icons :D

Would it be at all possible to release this as a native skin at all?

jjulagay 25. February 2008, 04:14

I love this skin. Not sure if its just me, but this skin hides the X's on the speed dial page.

murfi 12. March 2008, 10:41

i'll just say it: this is the BEST skin available for opera.
i downloaded this when it was 1.2.2, and since then, i'm looking for other skins. i still havent found a better one.
its clear, its simple, its just good. i guess i'll have to use it for another year ^^ getting tired of it a bit now, but as i said, there is no better to switch to :D

the only complaint i have: the scroll-bar color. mostly i cant see it too good, because its very light-colored. its blends with the background of the scrollbar (because of the angle i'm looking at my tft-screen. if i change the angle so i can see it clearly, everything else gets too dark)

anyway, i gave you 5 of 5 stars.

zoligrg89 14. March 2008, 17:31

cool!

archetwist 20. April 2008, 01:43

jjulagay, you are right, there are no close buttons (no images for them, to be precise) on the speed dial page. I wanted the page to be slim. You can still delete any entry by choosing the "Clear" command from the context menu.

splondike 21. May 2008, 07:55

Nice skin .

HEPB 29. May 2008, 05:42

Cool skin ! Icons, tabs ! Good job man !

Luxor 5. June 2008, 12:50

All it needs now are additional icons for FF and IE

monamar 14. June 2008, 08:44

Thumbs up from another look-n-shout devotee.
Thanks!

laughbest 18. June 2008, 02:27

Very nice skin!

The only thing that needs improvement as I see is the height of toolbars. Currently it absorbs too much screen area.

archetwist 19. June 2008, 00:21

Just a note. Don't use the new version with Opera 9.27 or below. It won't look good. For Opera 9.27 use one of the legacy versions.

tytung 21. June 2008, 01:55

Love this skin. But may I suggest that the size of tab titles are made fixed? The skin will be cleaner.

archetwist 22. June 2008, 00:52

It is fixed.

Kefas1 22. June 2008, 12:50

A very nice, clean skin. However, the RSS-icon is a show stopper to me.

Lohmataya 27. June 2008, 22:54

Very nice skin!

superici 1. July 2008, 20:46

looking good

inajam 3. July 2008, 03:37

Very nice. After the 9.5 update it was just plain depressing to open Opera... I even found myself resorting to IE so knew I just had to find a better looking skin... and this is it!

tytung 7. July 2008, 04:38

No, I mean the tab size depend on page title. I would prefer that the tabs length are fixed, just like all other skins.

archetwist 8. July 2008, 21:14

tytung, now I get it. There are other skins in which the length of the pagebar tabs is not fixed, though (like Breeze or Freestyle). I think the current behavior is OK and I probably won't change it. But you can always edit your copy of the theme: change the "Pagebar max button width" and "Pagebar min button width" settings from the skin.ini file.

tytung 11. July 2008, 13:43

Hehe...just that simple..shame on me
One of the best opera skin! Keep up the good work.

thenebbishroute 10. August 2008, 14:28

Great skin. Thanks alot.

liviopl 15. August 2008, 19:34

I dislike new buttons and tabs in nonmain windows...

kyu3 19. August 2008, 14:04

This skin is Cool and Fun!

Wandering electrons 29. August 2008, 16:46

There's a problem with this skin (in 9.5x at least): if you put the personal bar on the left (and I assume on the right), the icons are cut in half.
Correct that and you've got a nice skin here.

Magnificent

out all the new ones out there

Best

Thank you

deja-Vu 19. November 2008, 00:25

Very nice skin!!

xevoros 28. January 2009, 23:42

Nice skin.I simply want to add that it is very good integrating into kde 4.2 and oxygen.Perhaps you should advertize it as such

kevinluu2003 12. February 2009, 07:02

Very sweet theme! The current tab stands out from the rest of the background tabs. Wish the scroll bar on the right could be more obvious. Other than that, great theme! Elegant, clean and great on the eyees.

jstuyts 26. September 2009, 02:00

Very nice and clean skin that is easy on the eyes. The icons are beautiful.

The icon for an expanded folder in the email panel is missing though.

And the (default) icon for feeds should probably be changed to the standard RSS icon.
