A simple and functional skin with many extras such as additional toolbar button images. It's very suitable for color schemes!

I've only been using Opera since 6 (for Win), but this is by far my favorite skin to date.

Even looks great with 7.5!

WTG scipio... Look forward to more.

Not loaded with fancy "heavy" graphics but clear and slim skin. Simplistic, very functional and easy to customize. My favourite :-)

brian0555 5. January 2004, 20:54

This skin is pretty slick, it has a simplistic feel to it, easy to use and to see. I especially like the transparency of the tabs. Very nice work!

Thomas Chah 10. January 2004, 07:37

I wish to make images on Contacts a face of person including male and female.
Very nice skin!

xulm 22. January 2004, 15:04

:hat: this skin is the best i've ever seen :hat:

iopq 24. January 2004, 21:05

Props to scipio on his first skin!

I'll test it out some more. It looks pretty decent. I put it in blue because gray looks so boring.

Although maybe it would make sense not to modify the scroll bar for the people that have colored scroll bars on? Some sites prefer to stylize themselves that way.

Phantom_of_The_Opera 24. February 2004, 19:59

Sorry. Looks so terrible lifeless.

dparnell 10. March 2004, 01:33

Thank you for this. It has a simple, clean feel to it. Nice lines and not 'flash'. There are some innovative touches too that hint at a creative mind behind this design.

Very well done.

offmdan 27. March 2004, 15:31

This one is a must!

Thank you Scipio. Job well done!

raulmontoya 13. April 2004, 14:44

best opera skin ever!! Love the extended lines around text boxes. Like a good old fashioned pencil drawn blueprint.

Megamieuwsel 21. April 2004, 16:13

Ziet er goed uit man.(die skin bedoel ik. Niet jij.)

Hangnail 24. April 2004, 01:46

Love the 'blueprint' look of this skin. One of my favorites!

MarcFou 24. April 2004, 10:17

Its nice to have something different. Very soft and easy on the eyes. Creative and original.

Phantom_of_The_Opera 8. May 2004, 23:00

No.

Frenzie 21. May 2004, 08:29

I preferred the 7.0-7.23 Windows Native version of the skin, but since I don't like the 7.50 default skin (and as such Windows Native) I decided not to modify the old default skin, but to try something new. Because I had checked out multiple skins in the past I already knew there were only two real choices for me. Breeze II and Carthago. I have now been using Carthago for a month or maybe more and I have no intention yet of changing that. Keep it up! :D

jaronson11 9. July 2004, 04:36

Not gimmicky, not cartoony, not mac-centered, not xp-centered, not garish. Easily the best skin so far. Keep up the good word.

one of the few skins I've ever seen that doesn't look like it's trying to be something else...I especially like the crosses at the end of text boxes

oddlepoddle 11. September 2004, 17:22

Love it - clean, functional design. My default skin.

mzk 8. October 2004, 23:58

oddlepoddle 16. October 2004, 07:33

Best Opera skin bar none - simple yet stylish. The only one I use now.

non-troppo 7. January 2005, 18:03

A simple, elegant and innovative design!

dolphyo 20. February 2005, 09:08

Very slick and smooth, makes pages even look slick and smooth too! One drawback though: after installing Carthago, several non-spam emails started getting treated as spam...Therefore I rate it 4 instead 0f 5.

scipio 23. February 2005, 17:28

Dolphyo, skins have nothing to do with how Opera deals with spam.

latrent 31. March 2005, 22:42

This is an ultra-clean minimalist skin with just the right touches added. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it an 8!

huges84 18. April 2005, 03:08

This skin is my all-time favorite. Everything is so good looking. The colors are very good at blending in together, so they don't distract me when I'm focusing on the webpage I'm looking at. It is very easy on hte eyes.

The only thing that I don't like is the color for the tab that shows which page is currently active. When I have many pages open (I often have 30 or so), the tab does not stand out. It can be hard to see where it is. I would have gone with the lightest color you used (the one around the address bar) for the highlighted tab instead. Maybe when this semester is over I will learn how to change it myself. But first I need to figure out why Opera keeps crashing when I click on the mail panel :frown:

Anyways, thanks for the great skin!

Rudi1 4. May 2005, 19:39

I just like to say big Thanx for this really nice skin.
For me is my number one,I use only 3 skin,yours-Breeze Simplified by Non-Troppo and Designer by Moose.Just simpli the best!

Thank you scipio for your work and take care!

Thomas Chah 6. May 2005, 04:48

The color of browser buttons is different from Contacts button's one. The color of Contacts button is bright much.
I like the bright color. Can you make the browser buttons bright same as Contacts?
What do you think about the broght color?

ThePast 10. August 2005, 11:20

Although this skin does not fit my personal taste, I still give it a 5 for its innovative design with a sleek simplistic feel and originality to it that I have not seen in any other skin. And I think that after a bit of usage and time getting accustomed to it it will be be the only skin that can pose any "threat" to the skin that has been my long time favourite for years.

I only have one real complaint, this is the only skin that by Scipio. Or have I missed other gems designed by him?

Well done Scipio.

Adam23 8. September 2005, 11:33

Flat, no distracting colors, light and precise graphics. Best choise for me :-). Thanks scipio.

mimic 21. March 2006, 13:05

I usually only like dark skins but this one is very nice and I'm using it. Simple and clean. Thank you for making it for us, and all of your hard work you do, scipio.

pdemb 17. April 2006, 09:46

This skin composes well with Window Maker's default theme.

sawfish 8. May 2006, 23:07

In my top 3 favourite skins.

Yahia 14. January 2007, 00:43

This is the best skin I've ever used.
Simple yuet powerful, full and original icon-set featured, perfect work with the tabs and the side panel...
Really Amazing !

BtEO 19. August 2007, 21:08
