Default skin with clear speed dial. Best with Opera 10. If you've customized your speed dail with a background image, or custom thumbnails, this is a skin for you!

*1.1
Manually specified fallbacks to be active - hopefully helps with compatibility.

Find where the skin is downloaded and open skin.ini. Add the following to the bottom:
[Speed Dial Thumbnail Title Label Skin]
Text Color = #FF0000

where #FF0000 is the HTML colour code you want. You may find The Colours Of The Rainbow widget useful for this.

Wow, really cool

I love it. For the first time since Opera 6, I can use a background image. And this one is on every new page, not just the primary background. Thank you, WOFall. Cheers

i'm using ubuntu 9.04 and it worked for me. try setting up the png thumbnails first then applying the speed dial skin. to find out where it's located just go to about:opera to locate opera folder.

nsindian 20. September 2009, 07:06

how do you get rid of the background of the thumbnail?

WOFall 25. September 2009, 23:34

It depends how much you care about doing it properly, but you can just delete the image from the skin file...

Superb! :D

Sutekh 5. October 2009, 23:27

When this setting is set to 2, thumbnails are not shown at all. My guess is that this:
[Speed Dial Thumbnail Number Label Skin]
Padding Left = 9999

is moving both numbers and thumbnails to the left.

It used to just add loads of padding, so I don't know where abouts down the line the thumbnails started to disappear altogether :| Anyhoo, it can't really be helped from what I can see, apart from it being fixed internally...

PieterDeBie 25. October 2009, 21:55

Nice work, thanks for making it!

Shrantellatessa 28. October 2009, 21:44

WoW!! Exactly what I was struggling to do with the original Opera skin; so thanks for your mind-reading skills :D
