I have changed icon size to 80% and it looks the same…

However, I was surprised NOT to see the delightful Speed Dial Background displayed in your example.
OakdaleFTL 5. September 2009, 21:58
Otherwise, great job! (As usual.)
Mescalero 5. September 2009, 22:30
But speed dial state 2 won't work with this skin. The thumbnails don't display. Is there a different way to get rid of "What is speed dial" etc?

Es grandioso para pantallas pequeñas como las de las netbooks, yo tengo una Acer Aspire One y le calló de maravilla este skin. Gracias Tamil! Good Work.

One problem is still bothering me: when i have more than 60 tabs opened it becomes very hard to select right one. If you hover over one small tab you can see that next tab is selected when near border... Is this fixable?

This is side effect of hiding Speed Dial number. Delete [Speed Dial Thumbnail Number Label Skin] section from skin.ini inside zipped skin file or see workaround in bottom of this post.Originally posted by Micky:

Well assuming that's straight, what files etc. are responsible for Speed Dial? Thanx.
This is my first time manually tweaking an Opera skin, but I am very savvy with computers.

- "I will check it." - c00 skin is pixel perfect when hovering over tabs.
- Is it possible to bring yellow attention color to items in 'Ctrl+Tab' area like it was in 9.x ?
- If Tab Bar is full of tabs and you place 'Fixed spacer' on it, it should open new tab when you double click it. Is it possible to achieve this?
- 'Full Screen' icon looks weird with so small button. I replaced it with old 9.x icon that is smaller and it looks better now.
- I also repainted menubar.png and statusbar.png to one uniform color (without gradient) so that readability of both bars is increased.
This is result (notice that color of Menu Bar reflects upper color of active tab).I can send you all three files if you want to try.

Can you excise the blue dots? The yellow attention color is perfect, and the blue dots are completely superfluous (not to mention an eyesore and confusing, located between tabs).

-Choose Pagebar folder in skin zip
-Choose Top folder (or Bottom or Side if you've moved your tab bar)
-Extract:
pagebar_button_hover.png
pagebar_button_inactive.png
-Rename extracted files to (respectively):
pagebar_button_attention_hover.png
pagebar_button_attention.png
-Drag them back into the same folder and overwrite

I have only customised mainbar and tabbar right now and got more room with this skin.. thanks a lot..!!
By the way Tamil, what is that 'green tick icon' seen at the right side of the tab bar?
mitchman2 10. September 2009, 06:50
- If you use dual monitors, the negative margin of the pagebar tail will force the menu button menu off the screen.
- The skin doesn't fall back to the standard skin but instead includes all images from the standard skin, even if they are not replaced. Skins should not do this.

True, it was blue in 9.x. Maybe bold yellow would be fine?Hm, maybe same yellow color for 'Drop Insert' markers?

That does the job but creates a "phantom X" problem, where Opera wastes space for text on the tabs that don't have the X (first image). Is there any workaround for that? I don't understand how Opera doesn't make a single X at least an option. It's not like people don't expect it.

It is quite time consuming to get the mouse precisely where you can drag it down

I agree, I probably use it only once or twice a day but it is very frustrating to find that one pixel. Two extra would make a world of difference. In any case, if you really want to save more space, there seems to be more than two pixels free below the button images but then it may look too crowded.

can we expect a Win7 extra look
My favorite skin regardless the fact the buttons are not visible in most sites.
Congrats!
