P.S. Some support in 9 beta
In previous versions, you were able to call JS from Flash and call AS functions from JS but params were ignored (no object conversion were done).
I am trying to develop a plugin which will communicate with page contents.
So I started to examine what information I can get with NPRuntime.
I found that some NPRuntime methods returns error message while the returned result is valid and some methods returns incorrect values (double value in place of integer (for instance attributes.length)).
I understand that NPRuntime is new in Opera.
Will it be ready to use in release version of Opera 9?

sorry to be so slow at following up here. Bug reports and test cases for the issues you are seeing would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me if you do not want to post stuff you are working on in the forums.

In this test.zip archive my simple test plugin can be found. I tested it with Opera 9 build 8501 on WinXP.
At this moment I am not sure that
but the case of
some NPRuntime methods returns error message while the returned result is valid
can be found there. And the most interesting is why NPRuntime calls is so slow.
double value in place of integer
Plugin was developed in base of a plugin for Firefox and it works fine enough in Firefox. And if we'll take into account that NPRuntime is a standard then its behaviour expected to be identical in Opera.
To test this plugin included test.html must be used.
Please let me know if I made something wrong and when improvements will be done (if any).
I am trying to build NPAPI plugin for Mac OS. And it tryes to use npruntime. It succesfully loads in opera, but npruntime stuff not works. All works fine now on Safari and FireFox, but on Opera npruntime seems not working to me.
Does Opera for Mac OS support npruntime? If so, is there any usable example of sources of plugin that uses npruntime on Mac and works on Opera? Example from mozilla.org for mac also succesfully uses npruntime under Safari, but not under Opera.
