Maybe you will consider me a heretic but...

Hi all...
I have been Opera user for quite a while.. Few years.. anyway... I think that all things Opera management did last few months, improving website and browser features and of course making it free is great (maybe came late though, but better late than never).. however, what i dislike is the fact that opera still has the same logo...

Opera will always be know as "the big O" but... does it have to look like that?

For example.. take a look at this:
First Google logo: Google in 1998
Now used Google logo: Google in 2005

Be honest to yourself.. if this wasn't Opera's logo, and if don't spend 10 hours daily interacting with Opera.. would you like it? If you see that on desktop, next to it FF or IE and have no idea what is each of those.. which one would you click?

I believe that logo should be modernized... the concept should stay of course, but it should look different..

What is your oppinion?

This has been discussed before (check the links on the second reply, too), and lots of people tried making a new one.

There were a few cool ones but like some Opera staff member said, changing logo is not within the powers of the community.

In addition to previous discussions, Opera's logo has actually undergone a few changes through the years as well.
