Opera Community Statistics

Daily average of new members increased from <300 (before April 19) to 776 (after September 30, 2005).
Maximum members (4789) joined the forum on August 30.
78035 members joined forum in last 6 months (from April 15).

You can see on June 1^st nearly 950 new members joined. On June 21^st nearly 2321 new members joined.

Wov, this june and july must have been really a member-flood month. Looks like I have no more reason to wonder why the "server monkeys" can't sometimes get my request and I need to click on Refresh

Really nice pictures you have but unfortunately they're lack of how you got that data (still not sure what the ordinate & abscissa should indicate) --> your data is depending on what?

-- some users might see this as well, ya know ...

... statistics are nice, but they should stand obvious questions to be accepted ...
anyway, it seems you're the Excel-expert, but maybe I missed something.

Alright, SM, that link http://rankings.big-boards.com/?p=all (<-- note: /?p=all) gave some search results about item "Opera".

Actually, first Opera item is ranked 47th "Chiquititas
Hebrew forum for an argentinian soap opera",

second Opera item is ranked 391st "Operation Sports
Forum dedicated to Sports Video Games",

third Opera item is ranked 755th "My Opera
Opera browser community forums".

Are you refering to third one at 755th place?

Big-Boards is a site that tracks message boards, if you were to use the url I provided and search for "my.opera",

then click on the "stats" link it would take you here,

But then you could have gotten there by reading the(this) thread.

Regarding Opera stats, me too have no data at all.
That is the reason why I am asking.
People are tending to post things in here for any reason. I'm just reading posts & want to understand ... simple this is, mate.

Well SM, following your path of being nitpicking ...

Beside some Opera users might have questions about Opera statistics -- ok -- you might prove your very last post with the post just above your post ...

So what ? Which source is the right one?
May I allowed to ask, please.

See, I have no worries to read nice Opera stats, but at least they should meet the very simplest demand. May be we could agree on that one, no?

well, it would be useful to also have daily or hour-by-hour info on people logged in or just looking(quantity, and name??)...
Of course this would have to be separated by the main titles of the 'forum root'...
They may all be people in the 'lounge', where there are only 10 or so in 'opera desktop' ....

This is 100% true.

I have integrated a small private chat that I belong to into the Opera community, a little over a dozen people and none of them use the Opera browser

besides myself. They do complain that the editing controls in the community do not work really well (in Firefox, IE and Netscape), but there are a lot of bells and whistles for a free, private forum. Especially when you consider there is no advertising.
