RSS message counter bug
I have weird bug in my Opera RSS-section. It shows i have 29 unreaded messages but i have read all the unreaded messages and they are marked as readed. I don't have any hidden folders and all messages are shown. I have marked as read every folder there is. Is there any way i could reset that counter or something i can fix this bug without deleting any rss feedies?
Welcome to the My Opera community!
Just to make sure, right-click on the "Feeds access point header" and choose "read feeds". Then, click the view button on the mail toolbar above the message list, goto "show" and check anything that's not checked. Revert those checkboxes if checking them doesn't reveal anything.
If that doesn't work:
Set the Mail Database Consistency Check Time to 0, save the change and restart Opera. Choose OK to perform the maintenance. The number will reset to a high number after the restart, so don't worry about that.
If it's still not right, you might have to delete each feed and add it back in. One way to do that fast is to goto "Menu -> settings -> import and export -> export feed list". Then, delete all your feeds. Then, import the opml file. You'll lose all the already-downloaded feed messages that are no longer on the feed page though. And, you'd have to right-click on each feed and edit the update interval again (if you ever changed any of them).
Besides that, I don't know. You might have to start with a new mail folder then.
