Whatever, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, which is why I always suggest a workaround if someone asks for a feature request. Its not denying the request, just saying "Try this while you're waiting," which may often be years, or may never happen at all.

Leaving aside issues of cognitive recall I think the difference you are not seeing is that of state, namely tab position and scroll position.
