Session Nickname

I wish that the Bookmark Nickname functionality also existed for Sessions.

You can work around this easily by using bookmark folders instead of sessions. Add the same tabs to a bookmark folder. Bookmark folders can have long descriptive names and a short Nickname.

Thanks for the suggested workaround but working with Sessions is not the same as working with Bookmarks; just try replicating a simple session with several open tabs where state changes overtime.

I don't see much difference between "Save session", type the existing session name if you can remember it, then overwrite it; and delete all bookmarks in a session folder then "Add all open bookmarks" to a folder.

Either way, you have to remember to update any changes that you made to the session.

Whatever, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, which is why I always suggest a workaround if someone asks for a feature request. Its not denying the request, just saying "Try this while you're waiting," which may often be years, or may never happen at all.

Open Drag the link to create a button. Click and hold to show your session menu.

Leaving aside issues of cognitive recall I think the difference you are not seeing is that of state, namely tab position and scroll position.
