Support of CSS custom cursors via cursor:url()
I believe Opera is just one feature short of being the best Internet browser that I would recommend to each of my customers: the lack of support for CSS' cursor:url(...)We rely on that for a feature in our intranet-application where the user has to "pin" items to an image: the item to pin is set as a cursor so that user will know the exact position of the pinning (we have many reasons for using CSS instead of javascript).
We are requiring our customers to use a Gecko-based browser (SeaMonkey or FireFox) solely for the lack of support of that feature in Opera, otherwise we would install Opera as the end-user's browser on all machines.
Will this be implemented someday? Or was it decided for some reason that cursor:url() shouldn't work with Presto?
Thank you

Works fine in IE9, too. Maybe shall it be notified as a bug?
Indeed!
It works on all major browsers except Opera!
WebKit-based (Chromium, Google Chrome, Safari, SRWare Iron, rekonq): OK.
Gecko-based (Mozilla Seamonkey, Mozilla Firefox): OK.
Trident-based (Internet Explorer 6/7/8/9): OK.

Anyway, it seems to be more a work to do than a bug. According to Wikipedia:Originally posted by "Wikipedia":
Presto property notes
cursor — cursor is ignored with dynamic pseudo-classes and custom cursors are unsupported
Well, I hope they implement that soon: one of the key strengths of Opera is standards compliance... Presto should keep up with all CSS bells&whistles

I've reported the bug too: do they usually give feedback on reports?
Usually not, especially when the bug is reported twice:"If the bug is being discussed, it has probably been reported already. In this case, do not file a bug report, as any report filed will be marked as a duplicate. This wastes both your time and the time that we could better spend resolving existing issues."
Opera 11.64,Puppy Linux 5.6 Precise
Presto in the very only one engine missing this: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Using_URL_values_for_the_cursor_property
Needs to be fixed, however specification doesn't list which formats should be supported (that example code is more like hint, what should be supported, not what must)...
