Persistent text fails where Firefox works perfectly (twoplustwo.com)
On the vBulletin forum website twoplustwo.com, when I would type private messages, Firefox could always restore all of my entered text even after the entire system crashed with the blue screen of death, and it did it without a special plug-in. I installed the "Persistent Text" extension of Opera, and it can't do the same. For example, it doesn't work when I kill Opera from the task manager, but Firefox restores text perfectly in this case. Often Opera can restore the text if I simply close the tab and reopen it, but even this does not seem to work consistently. I'm using the latest version of Opera on XP.EDIT: It DID work on THIS website for THIS message after I killed Opera from the task manager.
