Certain sites think Java is not installed

Certain sites won't work in Opera as they say I don't have Java installed, although I do. The same sites work fine with IE. I have checked in Opera settings and java script is enabled.
I'm running Opera 11.51 and Win 7.

Java is an entirely different thing to javascript. We need a link to a site that doesn't work, and you need to edit your thread title to keep it open. I recommend reading the sticky threads too:

One website that works for me in IE but not in Opera is www.speedtester.bt.com/

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean when you say "edit your thread title to keep it open"
