set up problems for yahoo mail
I am trying to set up my mail to be able to send/receive my yahoo mail through opera mailIt gets stuck on the fetching account settings after putting in the email and password info. It will continually have the 3 dots moving under it indicating it is not frozen but it will sit there for hours doing nothing.

Did you select POP? And, do you have Yahoo plus or live in a country where yahoo mail pop access is free? Did you try using your email as your username instead of just your username and vice versa?
Do you have any anti-virus/firewall/security software that has email scanning capabilities? If so, try turning the email scanning off.
You can also enable logging for the account. The log might be more revealing about the problem.

Opera already uses the right settings when you type your yahoo email address into the account settings.

If you're using Yahoo mail in the U.S., the free version doesn't support POP (at least mine doesn't).
