Image viewer problem

Hey guys,

I noticed this problem for a while, but now I am annoyed enough to ask about it:

When I have an email that has a picture attached to it, I click on download (then open, not save as) and then I have options like open with opera or use the windows photo viewer. Problem is: Nothing happens either way.

If I use opera, I get the loading circle next to the tab, nothing happens. If I use the windows photo viewer, it downloads the image int the download manager, but it doesn't open the photo viewer. It seems to me there is a handling problem with images in connection with the photo viewer. The way Opera reacts varies with the settings, but end result is that it doesnt work.

I already messed around with the settings, e.g. chose specific programs to handle file type etc..but I can't figure it out.

Some thoughts anybody?

EDIT: When I choose the photo viewer as standard app in the settings, then go to my email, open the pic and then pick "opera" from the drop-down Menu, then it actually opens with the photo viewer. But that is also another unnecessary step and click I have to make. Shouldn't it be easier?
