Limit IMAP sync by date ??
I use opera as an IMAP reader for gmail.Opera gets in a mess fairly frequently, requiring me to delete the account and re-sync. This takes many many hours as Opera has to download years worth of email history.
I could tell opera to download subjects only - but then I'd only have the subjects of my recent emails which would mean a delay for each email I need to read.
My question is whether there is some setting whereby I can tell Opera to only download emails (or email contents) that are up to N months old?
There is really no need for opera to download multiple years worth of email (and I think the huge database is probably part of the reason that Opera keeps crapping out).
I use Gmail IMAP with "make all messages available offline" and have plenty of messages. Opera works perfectly fine and I don't have sync issues and don't have to remove the account and add it back in after a while.
There's current no option to do that.
How many messages do you have? System and connection details?

Oh. That's just a tiny amount of messages. Opera handles way more than that no problem. Not sure what's up then.
