Source Code View: Add button *and* keyboard shortcut to save and display the changed html result

The normal workflow to edit a page using source code view is to open the edit mode [e.g. CTRL+u ], change the html in the way you want, click on "apply changes" with your mouse [sorry, I'm using a localized non-english version, therefore it could be named different] and selecting the tab showing the changed content.

To optimize this, I'd like to see a button *and* a keyboard shortcut that immediately leads to
* applying the current changes
* and showing the resulting html page

Apply Changes Drag this link to your bookmarks panel, then open a source code page and drag it from the bookmarks panel to the source code editor's toolbar. If it works for you, then remove the original button.

But why leave the source code page open?

Apply Changes This button will just apply the changes and close the source code page, returning focus to the updated page.

@Pesala: thanks for your quick reply. The downturns of your provided solution are - if I'm wrong please correct me - that it's not possible to define a keystroke for the action and that while using the action "switch to previous page" this won't necessarily switch to the affected HTML page if I've opened another tab meanwhile.

Regarding your question why to leave the source code page open: to quickly switch between HTML presentation and source code to modify and view changes within a short time. Therefore, the keyboard shortcuts are necessary.

This is a keyboard shortcut that works for me:
View document source | reload & Close page,1 & Switch to previous page

It's a toggle and I mapped it to Ctrl+F3 (you can use whatever you like - except single keys as they wouldn't work while you are on the source page)
What is does:
a) When you are on a HTML page it opens the source code tab
b) When you are on the source code page, it applies changes, closes the tab and switches back to HTML presentation (provided the source tab was opened next to the HTML page, in other words: Preferences - Advanced - Tabs "Open new tab next to active" must be checked). It doesn't matter if you opened another tab before closing the source tab, but for closing the source tab must be active).
If you don't like closing the source tab you can modify the shortcut accordingly, but I think opening/closing is quick and won't constrain your workflow. Additional advantage: Properly closing the source each time avoids opening duplicate source tabs.
