You should try the different platforms that opera suggests.

I have the same problem. Though I am logged in, There is no reaktion from operamail. And if I try to set up the account, there is the answer: Username or Password wrong. But I just logged in with that password. Opera is the most terrible service in handling passwords and loggin information. I hate to ask every new day for a Password reset.
