[e-mail client][mailing list] Can't see my own messages
I can't see my own messages in a mailing list. I can only see them in my outbox directory.I think it's a bad feature and I want to turn it off.
I don't have find any option in opera:config. It might only be an unappropriate label.
If this feature is not implemented can you add it in the next release of opera ?

Under the "Mailing Lists" access point, there's a view for each list. Do you you have a view for the list in question? If so, when you open its message list, do you see any messages? If so, are you saying you're not receiving the messages you posted to the list? Or, are you saying you are receiving them, but they're only showing in "All Messages/Received" and not in the view for the mailing list? If the latter
There's a view button on the mail toolbar above a message list. Click it and goto "show". There, you have an option to "show mailing lists", "show hiddien" and "show sent". Maybe one of them isn't set to what you want.
Also, are you sure this group is being detected as a list in the first place?

Do you really mean "All Messages/Outbox"? Or, do you mean "All Messages/Sent"? If the former, that means your messages aren't being sent.

I don't really understand what you want to turn off, sorry.

You can't see your own messages on google groups if you are using Gmail, it's a Google thing. And since only received messages can be labeled as "mailing list" ones, you will not see your own messages on the mailing list view.
So this problem is not from opera but from google. Thanks.

Yes. I'm not but the others received it anyway.

This will not solve my problem.

I would say "All Messages/Sent".

I don't really understand what you don't understand.

If you want to turn off the mailing list feature:
1. For all of Opera's views (like All Messages/Received etc.), make sure "view -> show -> show mailing lists" is checked.
2. Click the view button on the mail panel toolbar and uncheck the "mailing lists" access point.
Don't delete any of the views under the mailing lists access point though as they'd just be recreated and will cause the mailing list access point to unhide.
