Opera 11.51 build 1087 yahoo mail

Weird problem with yahoo mail as of today sept 22. I can log on fine, can see the the sidebar with the folders and message counts, can access folders the list of messages displays, but the content of the messages are not visible. if i click on the print button(yahoo's), the message is visible in the popup window. Using winders XP sp3.

Now yahoo mail worked fine yesterday on this machine but doesnt this morning. i have several xp machines at work with the latest version of opera on all. the one i am using works fine with yahoo's web mail. i've not been able to track down what the trouble is on the other.
cleared the cache, cookies, still wont work. Anyone have a suggestion?

I'm going to be one of those annoying ones that say "WFM". However, I'm running Opera in Linux, so maybe that's the difference. Any extensions like the ad-blocking ones, ones that'd interfere with the page's scripts and contents?

nope it is a plain vanilla... as noted in my post i have two identical machines, with the same version of opera on them, and they both worked fine the previous day.

What about BrowserJS version?
If they are different Menu -> Help -> Check for Updates.

tried the updating but that wasnt it.

i may have found the problem, seems something to do with permissions for opera's configuration folder. (aint winders grand??? p )
it is working now i'm just not certain why, but after playing with the permission it seems to be working. I'll have to see for how long.

it was something in the config file..., not sure what as i used the scorched config file solution. deleted the old file and let opera build a new one.
