Can't drag and drop links to bookmarks
I can't drag a link to create a tab on my bookmarks panel. Instead, it just highlights text. Please tell me how to fix this problem. You're not supposed to create tabs on your bookmarks panel, just bookmarks. You create new tabs on the tab bar.
You have to have mouse gestures enabled in preferences>advanced>shortcuts.
And then you have to make the correct gesture:

You can also just shift+click a link and it will open as a new tab on the tab bar.

No, that's not what I mean: I want to add a bookmarklet for Google Reader where you drag the link to the browser window to create a tab. Instead of dragging the link up to the window, however, it just highlights text.
You have to drag them straight up, not in an angle.

I've also tried that then and now, as straight as I can manage. It still only highlights text.
Edit: Never mind! I tried a different link to the bookmarklet and it worked! Gah, but at least I finally got it. Thanks!
