How do I change or unhighlight clicked links?

After you click a link, when you go back to the page you clicked the link on, the link has changed color. Is there a way to prevent this or to delete something so that the link goes back to the default "normal" color as though you've never clicked on it.

In Safari, it's just deleting the history, but apparently not on Opera. I have tried clearing the history and nothing changed. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Clear the cache. As long as the page is in your cache, Opera will show links to it as visited.

Menu -> Settings -> Preferences -> Pages tab. You can set the color of visited links there, put it in the same color as the normal one.
