Transparent PDF's hard to read!

All of the 'transparent' skins I've tried have a simple major flaw (in my opinion). Somehow the Adobe plugin is being told to make areas of pdf pages transparent! This seems to include just about anything other than whitespace and makes it VERY hard to read if you have a background that has bright areas - the text blends in to the whitespace. Changing to the Opera or Windows Default skins fixes it. (Yes, I KNOW I can just save the pdf and view it in Acrobat Reader. Adobe makes the plugin, Opera works great with it, and I want the ease of use that it brings. If you're going to recommend another method of viewing pdf's, you aren't being helpful. Oh, and, yes, I could change skins whenever I load a pdf, but now you're just being silly.)

Can anyone help with this? A setting in Opera or the Acrobat plugin? If this is just a flaw in the skins I happened to try, how about a recommendation for a better skin? (I like dark colored, minimal themes that don't remove functionality). For now I'll be finding a skin or two with no transparency at all. I do like the techno-modern look of most of the transparency-enabled skins, but what can I do?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

You'll have to try other skins. It a skin allergy, so to speak.

As said, there is nothing you or the skin authors could do. It would need a fix from Opera.
