Opera 11.51 Not Painting its Window
Some windows act normally, some only get the frame and title bar. You can see what is under the window.Resizing the window will often get the content to show, but often with resize artifacts, and the page is not responsive.
Out of 22 windows and 100+ tabs, only 2 are working.
Restarting Opera will fix the problem, but not for long.

- Try to update your graphic cards drivers
- Try again with disabled plugins to see if this problem still appears. If yes then try to update your plugins (for example flash)
- You could try to reset opera to factory default settings
- You could also try a clean install
Try to reset Opera to the factory default settings by renaming operaprefs.ini and a restart of Opera. Opera should then create a new operaprefs.ini with default settings. If that doesn't work you can replace that file with the old one.
The operaprefs.ini is typical here:
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera\operaprefs.ini
Check opera:about for the exact path on your system.
Clean Install:
1. Backup all your needed stuff.
How do I back up my Opera files?
opera:about - Here you can see which paths your current install of Opera uses.
2. Uninstall Opera
3. Delete all files the uninstaller might left. Check the paths Opera had used (opera:about).
Typical paths would be:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Opera
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Opera
C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera
4. You could also run CCleaner to clean your registry.
5. Download the latest Opera installer and install it.
6. Integrate your backup by copying the files/folders from your backup in your current install.
