Trouble With Start Page (See Pic)...
Link To Pic…I have a BlackBerry Torch 9810.
I went to m.opera.com using my BlackBerry browser, installed OM 6.1 and the Start Page looks like this....(see pic). I managed to do a screen capture with QuickLaunch and even the pic didn't come out clean. Everything else worked in Opera Mini, I can browse and use all the features except I can’t use the BlackBerry menu key. So I exited and opened opera mini again and still had the same problem. Then I deleted it from my device, rebooted, reinstalled and the same problem keeps happening. HELP!
stupid
P.S. I was also having problems posting in this forum initially. It turned out to be a compatibility issue with IE9...Opera Mini, really!? Do I really need to still click the little Compatibility View icon? I haven't had to do this for over a year with other sites. Is your site that outdated?
Patience. The latest Torch models just came out, so Opera Mini team would need some time to check Torch 9810 and 9850/9860 (if they have access to them) in order to improve Opera Mini compatibility with BB's OS 7.
The original Torch (9800) with OS 6 is just fine with Opera Mini 6.1.

We're aware of the corrupted images on the start page, and we're working on a solution. The root cause is that RIM have changed their image decoder for BB OS 7, and we've reported the issue to them. As Nickerz noticed, the browser with all features still works.
Note that when using Opera Mini on a device with touch screen, the menu key doesn't bring up the tools menu directly; it's only used for bringing up the address/search bar (and the navigation bar, if you're using Mini in fullscreen mode) when you're browsing a web page.
