In opera:config you can set it to intermediate values. Its the User Prefs scale that you want, not the Printer scale factor.

any number i try btwn 90 and 80 takes the zoom down to 80. and any number i try btwn 80 and 70 takes it down to 70.
i want my zoom at about 85-86.so that i can resize tabs side by side without them overlapping each other.

The scale value in opera:config doesn't seem to be working for me either.

is there a way to change the change to +/- 5% instead of the default 10%?
Use shortcuts for commands:
Zoom in, 5
Zoom out, 5
That seems to work OK, but there should be an easier way. Try this.
Zoom to, 85 > Zoom to, 100

The default commands are "zoom in, 10" which zooms in by 10% so change it to "zoom in, 5" (or "Zoom in, 1" if you wish). Change the command for
0 ctrl = Zoom to, 85 > Zoom to, 100
0 ctrl = Zoom to, 85 > Zoom to, 100

Hey, Pesala, thanks. I'm new to Opera as of yesterday. I didn't know what term to search for to make text appear larger or smaller, and I happened upon this post. Your suggestion solved my Zoom concern, and I saved the preference page as a bookmark so I don't have to go hunting for it or try and remember the code line for the page.
