Opera Mini & Gingerbread in Galaxy Tab
hai all,I own a Galaxy Tab P1000 with Gingerbread XXJQ1 (2.3.3).
I downloaded & Installed Opera Mini Browser 6.1 from Android Market.
But whenever I open it, it shows "Installing" message appears with a struck progress bar & after 2 - 3 mins an error message " Unable to connect to the Internet. Please check your settings" appears.
I un-installed & reinstalled the app a number of times, but no change.
please note that Opera Mobile Browser works fine.
I need Mini browser to be working as it supports unicode fonts.
Kindly advice
Regards
Shibil Jaleel

Is there an option in Opera Mobile to enable - ‘Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts’
most of the forums suggest to use OPera Mini &
1. Type “config:” (without quotes and don’t forget to type colon at the end of the command) on address bar and press OK
2. Change entry for ‘Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts’ to ‘Yes’.
That’s it. Now you can read all unicode from mobile
