Deleted v Trash?

I have Opera 11.01 on Windows 7, and in "Manage Bookmarks" I have a "Trash" folder.

I've just upgraded my mother's Opera 9 to 11.51 (on Vista), she has a "Deleted" folder.

I'm not sure if I picked "English" or "British English" when I installed mine, I picked "British English " when I upgraded my mother's. I tried installing Portable Opera 11 & 11.51 using "British English" (on Windows 7) and on both installations I got a "Trash" folder.

My problem is that my mother has "Opera Link" enabled between her laptop and my PC in case she wants to print anything. The differently named "Trash/Deleted" folders seem to be messing with the sync. When I upgraded, I tried to delete the new "Opera" folder with all of the commercial links in it. It didn't take at first and kept coming back. As she now had a "Deleted" folder I tried to delete the "Trash" folder as it was now showing as deletable. When I finally had success with deleting both of these folders, I found all of the commercial links mixed up with the regular bookmarks and had to go through deleting them again. I will await any future problems

Why the differently named "Trash/Deleted" folders, and can I change this somehow?

Can I just change the "NAME" in "bookmarks.adr" as below, or will that mess something else up? (The one below is from my installation, I'll have a look at my mother's later on).

#FOLDER
ID=24
NAME=Trash
CREATED=1273929237
ACTIVE=YES
TRASH FOLDER=YES
DELETABLE=NO
