Mac OS X 10.7.1 page rendering problems

Again it is Mac OS X 10.7.1 using Version information Version 11.51 Build 1087 of Opera. I am having problems rendering HTML 5 and CSS3 with JavaScript pages correctly. Out of 9 of the browsers Opera for Mac is the only one who seems to be having the issues. Before the update the problems did not exist. The most notable is buttons and links having a white background instead of transparent and an imaginary box that pushes content in distorting the pages and you have to have Opera full size window for it to not distort the pages.

Maybe you have enabled an option like the View menu: Fit to width?

You need to be more descriptive. Include a sample page and a screenshot explaining your problem.

Ok, I am not sure how the fit to width was enabled because I rarely mess with settings on Opera being that I only use it for browser testing. What is the fit to width option good for and how do I plan for visitors who have it enabled?

Fit to width reflows content to fit within the available inner width of the browser window. It also increases contrasts (which is why you sometime see a link get a black background.) There is more information about it spread across If you have a fluid layout, fit to width should not be a problem as long as your layout work with smaller browser windows.
