Popups interrupt my actions
While I'm browsing around on the internet, I tend to download stuff. With one or more downloads in que, a few annoyances pop up:
- I am long-clicking for the context menu, but a download finishes. The popup notifying me of this fact interrupts the long-click, which is cancelled. Furthermore, if the long-click was on a link, it will be followed; this was not what I intended to do (following a link takes a short click).
- While the popup is there, a second download finishes. This popup covers the first one, just when I was about to click one of the buttons. Again, the popup interrupts what I intended to do.
- Finally, my long-click came through. But while the context menu is being displayed, another download finishes. The context menu disappears, and I can start all over again!
The following two solutions would completely remove all annoyances I experience. And maybe the long-click is a little too long.
- When I am long-clicking, any popups should be suspended.
- Older popups should be addressed first, so newer popups should go behind older ones. This way, I can address them in order.
Furthermore, but maybe this is an alternate solution altogether, Settings could allow for disabling popups altogether.
P.S.: This tab just crashed in Chrome...
