Keep losing connection

Opera mini keeps losing connection. What I mean, is that if I don't click a link in as little as a minute or so, and then when I do try, it 'pretends' to connect then stops and stays on the same page. Forcing me to close Mini and start it up again.
It has become really frustrating, especially after typing long posts.
It's all I can do to not smash my phone against the wall.
Is any body else experiencing this problem? After a quick search, seems I'm the only one.
I'm using a Nokia 5230 with the latest Mini 6... If that helps.
I hope I explained the problem good enough. It made more sense in my head.

Add: Had to restart Mini after typing to post this!

Could be a carrier issue. Mine (AT&T) just told me I need to buy a Microcell to get service at my house. irked I hve service, but it keeps going on and off, lots of times I can't make/get calls either. bomb
So, I have to spend $60 to get service that I'm already paying for! grrr!

Do you use HTTP or socket connection?

I'll give turning off Opera link a try.

I don't thing it's my network. I fell asleep while running Mini and UCweb... Mini didn't work in the morning, but UC did.

I no longer see an option to change between socket and http. But even when i could, I'd choose socket and it'd revert back to http.

Well, surprisingly, switching off Opera Link seems to have worked.
After long periods of not clicking links, I can still...er...click links.
Thanks for the suggestion, Sagrid.
