Issue with drag and drop
I searched but could not find any relevant info.OS: Windows XP pro SP3
Opera Version: 11.50
Problem:
On some user accounts, drag and drop in opera works just fine, however, in my account it does not work. This makes me think that it ma be that some preference has been inadvertently selected to keep it from doing drag and drop for anything (pictures, links, text, My Opera Buttons).
Could someone please help?
Thanks,
flyingfisch
Check your settings for Enable Drag (247 is the default)

It is 247. :S
Is there a way I could see the raw settings file or at least know what all of these numbers mean? Like, what would happen if I inputted 248 instead?

Click the ? by the setting to get some information or See this page
Bit field; which elements to enable drag and drop for:
1 = link
2 = bookmark
8 = same window
The information is apparently incomplete — there should be settings for:
4 =
16 =
32 =
64 =
128 =
The default of 247 = 255-8, which is enable everything except drag and drop to same window.

Do you have any extensions or user Javascripts installed that may be blocking this? Disable them all in Manage Extensions and try again.

If you don't know what they are then you probably haven't installed any. AFAIK bookmarklets use Javascript too:
In Preferences, Advanced, Content, Javascript Options, there is a path for User Javascripts. If that's empty then none are being used.
Scripts may provide mouse trails, automatic image resizing, copy links with formatting, etc.
