How do I alter pages using User Styles? (so far nothing I've done has worked)
So I found an article here:http://my.opera.com/micahrayaills/blog/how-to-install-custom-user-style-sheets-in-opera-and-firefox
I've tried what it suggested for manually installing css in opera, and nothing works, I enable the userstyle from right clicking > preferences and setting the css file, nothing happens, if I switch to user mode, it just looks like it would without a css file at all, which is weird looking.
There is no "install plain css option" when I go to userstyles.org
can anyone help me on this?

There are many sites explaining how to enable userstyle, e.g. this one. What is important to make them work are the settings in Preferences > Advanced > Content >Style Options > Presentation Modes. Your "weird looking" pages in user mode are most likely caused by your settings there. In the column User Mode "Pages style sheet" and "My style sheet" both should be enabled. This will ensure that the styles provided by the page author are maintained UNLESS partially overridden by your user style sheet. Only if your user style sheet should completely replace the author style sheet (very unlikely!) you can disable the page style sheet in user mode.
